The Children’s Book Award
This Award is presented annually only to the authors of new children’s
books.
The official measuring criteria are child readability & userfriendliness, simple and progressive storyline, based on fact or historical tradition, colourfully and simply illustrated, and encompassing both brevity and clarity.
The assessment is done independently and scrutinises books published
throughout the year by publishers L&R Hartley and their Subsidiaries
including Motorpride
Publications, The
Indian Press, FreePublish Africa, 
, Betaveröffentlichen
Deutschland, Beta Pubblicazione
Italia, Department Art
(Canada), Red Range Radio
Publications, Chistian
and Cultural Audio-Visuals, etc.
A colourful certificate is provided to the author and a ribbon seal is supplied to the manufacturer for inclusion with each copy of the publication.
