These stories of and from the heart are true, as they sprang from an incident that happened to the author as a little girl in Ontario. As a result, Brooks has a deep respect and admiration for the Ontario Provincial Police. This entire series is dedicated to them.
Grace Brooks was born in 1945 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. Currently she lives in The Pas, Manitoba, with her husband and two dogs. She is active in her church. When she is not writing, her favorite passtimes include swimming, hiking, and bicycling. She loves animals. Her previous books include a collection of poetry and children's books titled Snow Queen’s A Forever Home (available from this bookstore) and A Dog for Keeps.
