Tatomir Ion-Marius is a poet and peace activist from Romania. | Born in Resita (Caras Severin), lived since 1981 in
Sighetu-Marmatiei (Maramures). Member of the International Society For
Philosophers, (Sheffield, UK), with articles published in the Philosophy
Pathways Electronic Journal. Poetic debut in the Phoenix New Life Poetry
(Cornwall, UK). First Romanian Poet who protested peacefully against the Iraqi
war through poetry on www.poetsagainstthewar.org Honorary Life Member of Metverse
Muse, with recommendation from the Editor of the poetry biannual Metverse Muse,
Dr. Tulsi H., from Visakhapatnam, India. Periodically published in Metverse
Muse, International Poetry Anthology. Published in Creature Features Magazine,
edited and published by Ms. Rubi Andredakis, Limassol, Cyprus. Member of the
World Poets Society (Larissa, Greece). Member of the Poets of the World
(Chille). Member of the Bilingual Writers and Poets for Peace, presided by the
argentinian poetess Maria Cristina Azcona, where he receives in 2006 August, the

Chubut, 2 august 2007, in the interview accorded by poetess Susana Roberts, and
also on Radio Chubut (Argentina) on 16 january 2008. Lyrics Compositor of the
song May Peace Prevail on Earth, which has been put on music and interpreted by
mr. Muhammad Behleem. This song has been diffused on 11 august 2007 at an public

Published in September 2007, in France, Chennevieres-sur-Marne,

en poesie". On 10 october 2007, Tatomir was the Invitee of the Week of the Radio
Transilvania-Sighet, local radiopost belonging to Radio Transilvania.
Board Member of the Global Harmony Association (St. Petersburg, Russia).
In march 2009, two of his poems are published in France, in the international
anthology: "Paix et Fraternité en poésie", of the Universal Pantheon of Poetry
presided by Ms. Johanne Hauber-Bieth, Editions Dianoia,
Chennevieres-sur-Marne.
In june 2009, he receives an official recognizement
from the part of the Sociedade Memorial Visconde de Maua, Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil.
In august 2009 is the official invited of the town of Szombathely
(SAVARIA) to attend to the X-th Historical Carnaval of Savaria, Ludi
Savarienses.

and Culture of Peace (Haifa, Israel), for Romania, for 2008. Nominated Love
Ambassador by The Love Foundation (Tampa, Florida, USA), and nominated as
Universal Peace Ambassador in the framework of the Universal Circle of Peace
